WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) - Police have arrested a third-grade teacher accused of sexually abusing a student and say there could be more victims.
West Valley City Police said Tuesday they arrested 33-year-old Kyle Hill on suspicion of touching a 9-year-old child inappropriately and taking pictures of the child at least 10 different times.
Police say Hill the arrest came after a report from the child’s parents.
No attorney was immediately listed in court documents for Hill.
He has been a teacher at Endeavor Hall charter school for three years.
Principal Simon Raubenheimer says Hill was fired when the allegations came to light. He says the school had never previously received any complaints about Hill’s behavior.
He previously worked as a student teacher at Timpanogos Elementary School in Provo.
