MIAMI (AP) - A Florida Highway Patrol cruiser struck and killed a 17-year-old bicyclist who investigators say darted into its path.
Lt. Alex Camacho said Trooper Aliek Sierra was on patrol near Miami late Friday when Angel Lopez cut in front of the cruiser and was struck.
Lopez died at the scene. Sierra was not hurt.
