OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say Wednesday’s air quality has been rated unhealthy in the Omaha area.

Experts say people with heart or lung disease, older adults, and children should avoid prolonged or heavy exertion. Other people should reduce prolonged or heavy exertion.

The condition is blamed mostly on agricultural burning Tuesday in Oklahoma and northeast Kansas. Winds later Wednesday are expected to improve the eastern Nebraska air.
