OPINION:
I recently saw an interview with Lynnette “Diamond” Hardaway and Rochelle “Silk” Richardson on FOX News. I’ve seen both conservative women in interviews before, telling the public their opinions while giving support to our president. I always cheer them on because considering the left’s continuous assaults on everything President Trump says and does, it is refreshing to hear from people with common sense.
In the interview, the women said Facebook had blocked their posts because their page was “unsafe” for the public. This, in my opinion, is a serious case of censorship, and the denial of the women’s First Amendment rights under our Constitution. If they had violated the Facebook rules and did something inappropriate, I could see why it would have been necessary to stop them from engaging with the public. But that was not the case. The Facebook move is a blatant attempt to deny the woman their rights to say what they want.
I remember when you used to be able to leave comments after an article online t. Now I see the “F” for Facebook beneath articles, where you click to respond that way. If I didn’t know any better I’d say there was a conspiracy, by people who want only their own voices heard, to deny others the right to speak out.
