INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The owner of a sports memorabilia business was shot to death outside his Indianapolis home during an apparent robbery.

WXIN-TV reports that Andrew J. “Drew” Schwier, 26, died from his wounds Thursday evening.

Schwier owned Vintage 317, which sold and resold sports memorabilia. He was also a member of the Brickyard Battalion, a booster group for the Indy Eleven soccer team.

The team will hold a moment of silence for Schwier before Wednesday’s game.

The Greenfield Daily Reporter reports that witnesses told police they saw people fleeing the area and a car rushing from the scene after gunshots were fired. Police say Schwier died from multiple gunshots.

Police are investigating whether the crime had anything to do with Schwier’s business.
