ROANOKE, Va. (AP) - Roanoke police are investigating after officers discovered a man dead inside a home.
Police say officers responded to the 1600 block of Dale Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. on Friday after a man was found dead inside a house. Police have identified the man as 63-year-old Tony Leonard Lawhorn.
Police say his death is being investigated as a homicide, however the cause of death is under investigation.
