LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - About one-third of a wildlife area in southeast Nebraska is closing while work is done on the banks of the Missouri River.
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission says the northern third of Langdon Bend Wildlife Management Area is closed while the river bank is being widened.
The wildlife area is located east of Auburn in Nemaha County.
Wildlife biologist Mike Remund says Langdon is a large wildlife area that still offers good hunting grounds.
