(AP) - Enrollment fell at Mississippi’s eight public universities and its 15 community colleges this fall, with universities declining from an all-time record in 2016 and community colleges falling for the seventh year in a row. Here are preliminary totals for each school and the percentage change from last fall:

Alcorn State: 3,592, + 5 percent
Delta State: 3,778, +5.3 percent
Jackson State: 8,583, -12.5 percent
Miss. State: 21,884 +1.2 percent
Miss. Univ. for Women: 2,796, - 5.4 percent
Miss. Valley State: 2,458, +0.1 percent
Univ. of Miss.: 23,870, -1.9 percent
Univ. of Southern Miss.: 14,479, -0.5 percent
Total all universities: 81,350, -1.6 percent
COMMUNITY COLLEGES
Coahoma: 2,015, -8 percent
Copiah-Lincoln: 3,099, +0.8 percent
East Central: 2,625, + 10.3 percent
East Miss.: 4,166, -2.2 percent
Hinds: 11,830, + 2.8 percent
Holmes: 6,073, -1.7 percent
Itawamba: 5,336, -8.5 percent
Jones: 4,624, -2.6 percent
Meridian: 3,520, -2.4 percent
Miss. Delta: 2,348, -1.0 percent
Miss. Gulf Coast: 9,215, -0.9 percent
