Teenager dies after his vehicle crashes into tree

FULTON, Miss. (AP) - Officials say a Mississippi teenager was killed after he crashed his vehicle into a tree.

WTVA-TV reports 18-year-old James Duke Watson died in the crash that occurred near Fulton on Wednesday around 10 a.m.

Itawamba County Coroner Sheila Summerford says Watson was coming around a curve on Old Highway 25 when his Ford Ranger pickup truck went down an embankment and crashed into a tree.

No autopsy will be conducted.
