ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - A jury has convicted a New Hampshire man of negligent homicide after he punched a man outside of a bar who fell, hit his head on the ground and died.
WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2wJbk9B ) the jury on Wednesday also found 42-year-old Eric Langlais not guilty of manslaughter and riot.
Prosecutors say that in January 2016, Langlais got into an argument at Gary’s Sports Bar in Rochester with 44-year-old James Unfonak. They say he punched Unfonak once as Unfonak went to his car.
Unfonak fell and hit his head on the ground. He died from his injuries.
