NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A woman who was wanted along with her boyfriend in connection with an aggravated kidnapping and shooting in Tennessee is now the second of the two to be arrested in Louisiana.

NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune reports U.S. Marshals say 22-year-old Mikayla Stilwell was arrested Sunday and booked into the Orleans Justice Center jail. Her boyfriend, 25-year-old Jarret Heitmann, was arrested Thursday in New Orleans.

Stilwell and Heitmann are suspected of kidnapping a woman and forcing her to knock on the door of a man’s residence before he was shot when he came outside. The June 20 incident in Mount Carmel placed the couple on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s “Top 10 Most Wanted” fugitives list.

Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee spokeswoman Kristen Quon says the couple had been seen in several states.
