OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - An Omaha man has been accused of running a cockfighting operation.

Police and the Nebraska Humane Society confiscated 20 roosters from the man’s home Sunday afternoon and arrested him. Online court records don’t yet show that he’s been formally charged.

Mark Langan with the Humane Society says the birds had injuries consistent with cockfighting.
