PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Rhode Island officials say a 2-month-old infant from Coventry has been taken to a hospital with multiple injuries.
The Department of Children, Youth and Families on Tuesday reported that the infant who was “near death” was admitted to Hasbro Children’s Hospital’s pediatric intensive-care unit Sunday in possible case of abuse.
The Office of the Child Advocate has been notified.
