AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) - A weekend fatal crash has resulted in several charges for a man accused of driving under the influence.

News outlets report the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has charged 57-year-old Willie Lee Mitchell Jr. with DUI, improper movement and driving without a license in connection with the early Saturday morning crash that killed 30-year-old James G. Collymore.

The Augusta Chronicle reports Mitchell’s pickup truck turned in front of Collymore’s motorcycle on Deans Bridge Road in Augusta, and the bike hit the rare panel of the truck. Collymore was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:05 a.m. Saturday.

It’s unclear if Mitchell has a lawyer.
