SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Salt Lake County authorities say a Salt Lake City man was fatally injured when his motorcycle went off the roadway in East Canyon and went about 45 yards (41 meters) down the mountainside.
Police Lt. Brian Lohrke says circumstances of the crash Friday evening remain under investigation but that 57-year-old Alex Russell Ferrell apparently lost control of his motorcycle as he drove up the canyon.
