NORTH CONWAY, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire hospital is holding a public hearing on the possibility of changing its affiliation with a Maine health care system.

Memorial Hospital in North Conway has been a member of the MaineHealth network of providers and health care organizations since 2013. In the last year, the members of MaineHealth have been discussing reorganizing themselves under a single board of trustees and financial structure.

Officials from both Memorial Hospital and MaineHealth are holding a forum on Oct. 11 in North Conway to discuss the benefits of unification and to answer questions.
