CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - A man has been shot to death at an apartment complex in North Carolina’s largest city.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police spokeswoman Cindy Wallace said in a news release that officers were called around 3 a.m. Thursday.

Police said they found 31-year-old Jonathan Dominique Cauthen dead at the scene.



No arrests have been made. There is no indication of a motive for the shooting.

It’s the 67th homicide in Charlotte this year. There were 69 homicides in Charlotte in all of 2016.
