NORTHWOOD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire State Police say they’ve removed an explosive device from a construction site in Northwood.

Officers responded to the site Monday morning after receiving reports of an explosive device at the site. WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2xCJnm9 ) Northwood police worked with the state police bomb squad to remove the device.

Officials determined the device was not dangerous and it was removed without incident.



Authorities say the device is meant to be used for target practice.
