OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Olympia police are still investigating a suspected homicide in the Percival Creek area.
Olympia Police Lt. Sam Costello said on Sunday that the man who died from multiple gunshot wounds on Friday was thought to be in his 40s. The suspect or suspects involved are still at large.
The Olympian (https://bit.ly/2fjYxTh ) reports that Costello says the investigation is taking time because the victim lived in the Percival Creak area and has no known other address. An estimated 50 to 60 people live along the railroad tracks that run along the creek - which is situated in a deep gully.
Costello added it’s uncommon to find firearms among homeless individuals.
