POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) - Police in eastern Idaho say a man accidentally shot himself in the leg while parked in a truck on a busy street.
Police in Pocatello tell the Idaho State Journal (https://bit.ly/2wde5zf) that the man was disassembling a .45-caliber pistol on Friday morning when it fired.
Police say another man in the vehicle called 911 and emergency responders transported the injured man by ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center.
Police say the man suffered a serious gunshot wound to his leg but is expected to survive.
His name hasn’t been released.
