WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) - A New York woman is suing the Westchester Mall after she said employees did not protect her when she was attacked there.
According to the Journal News, (https://lohud.us/2xoziY3 ) Jelena Baletic says she suffered cuts to her face and can’t go to school or work because of depression. According to a police report, she was in line at a pretzel stand when a couple cut in front of her. She said the man accused her of pushing him and then he shoved her and punched her in the face.
She is suing the mall for $2.5 million. A mall spokeswoman had no comment Friday.
