BUENA, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say two people found shot inside a vehicle have died from their injuries.
But it’s still not clear what sparked the shooting in Buena.
Atlantic County prosecutors say police found a 34-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman in the vehicle when they responded to a report of shots fired on Wheat Road around 1:20 a.m. Saturday.
Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. Authorities have not released their names and further details about them, citing the ongoing investigation.
No other injuries were reported in the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
