PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say a 44-year-old woman died Thursday after the motorcycle she was riding on collided with a car.

Police say Sabrina Gillis was the passenger on the motorcycle driven by a man. The motorcycle crashed with a small passenger car at 35th Avenue and Union Hills Drive, and both the driver and Gillis were thrown off. Neither wore a helmet.

Police don’t suspect speed or impairment were factors in the crash.
