SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) - Massachusetts State Police say a 54-year-old man has been killed in a single-vehicle crash on a highway in Springfield.
Police say the crash happened late Sunday on Interstate 291. Investigators say the driver lost control of his pickup truck, slid off an exit ramp and struck a guardrail.
He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No one else was in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
