LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say a man died Saturday after crashing his motorcycle near Dean Martin Drive and Tropicana Avenue.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say the man was driving at a high speed when he lost control on a curve, striking a chain link fence.

The man was thrown from the motorcycle and struck a pole.



Police say the man, who hasn’t been identified, was pronounced dead at a hospital.

An investigation is ongoing. Police say this is the 88th fatal traffic collision this year. .
