GLOCESTER, R.I. (AP) - Police say a 50-year-old woman has died in a single-vehicle crash in Rhode Island.
Glocester police say the crash happened around 1 a.m. Sunday when a car being driven by Michelle Fontaine struck a telephone pole in Glocester. Police tell WJAR-TV the woman was not wearing a seatbelt.
Officials say Fontaine was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police say no one else was injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
