LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police in Las Vegas are investigating the stabbing of a man.

They say a man told staffers at a Family Dollar store on Rancho Drive about 8:15 a.m. Sunday that he was stabbed.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say they set up a perimeter and used dogs to search for the suspect without success.

The man has been taken to a hospital with injuries that don’t appear to be life threatening.

Police haven’t released the man’s name and age yet.

The motive for the stabbing also remains unclear.

They say their investigation is ongoing.
