RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police are investigating the death of a bicyclist who was struck by a car southeast of downtown.
Police say the cyclist was turning onto Plumb Lane near Kietzke Lane at about 6 p.m. Thursday when he was hit by a black Lexus sedan.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he later was pronounced dead.
Police say the driver of the car passed a sobriety test. Investigators say the bright sun could have been a factor in the crash.
No names have been released.
