DOVER, Del. (AP) - The police chief of Clayton has pleaded not guilty to a drunken driving charge.
Chief Brian Hill was charged in August with misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to maintain a single lane after he was stopped by a Delaware State Police trooper near Smyrna. He entered his plea Thursday.
The 47-year-old Hill was placed on paid administrative leave two weeks after his arrest. He has declined comment.
