PITTSFIELD, Mass. (AP) - A Massachusetts woman is heading to prison after pleading guilty to stealing thousands from Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort when she worked there.

The Republican reports 45-year-old Jennifer Thurston was sentenced 3 to 5 years in prison Wednesday.

The Berkshire District Attorney’s Office says Thurston stole $23,000 between Dec. 15, 2015, and April 1, 2016. The Hancock ski resort was her former employer.



Thurston had pleaded guilty to one count of larceny and several counts of utter a false check and forgery of a check.
