SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Authorities say an early morning shooting on an interstate in Louisiana has killed a man and injured another.

The Times of Shreveport reports officers responded to reports of a possible crash on Interstate 20 on Monday just after midnight.

The driver, 22-year-old Kenyon Frazier, sustained several gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Authorities say the passenger was struck at least once and pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.



Shreveport police said in a news release that preliminary information suggests shots rang out when a small dark-colored vehicle pulled beside Frazier’s vehicle.

Further details have not been released.
