CALEDONIA, Wis. (AP) - Police have arrested a Racine man after a bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash in southeastern Wisconsin.
The 39-year-old victim was on a bicycle ride with his son when the man was struck Friday night in Caledonia.
The Journal Times reports the man was riding his bike in the roadway while his 15-year-old son rode on the sidewalk alongside him. The man died at a Racine hospital.
Police impounded the suspect vehicle and took the driver into custody. Police say he faces pending charges of hit-and-run causing death.
The name of the victim had not been released as of Saturday.
