WALPOLE, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire State Police say a Walpole police officer was hurt in a crash involving a teen driver.

The crash happened Thursday night. Authorities say Officer Roger Landry was driving with his emergency lights activated to respond to another incident when 16-year-old Mason Lantz of Charlestown pulled out of a restaurant parking lot in front of the cruiser. The cruiser then struck the rear driver’s side door of the vehicle.

Lantz was uninjured while the officer received minor injuries.
