VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) - Police in Vancouver, Washington, say a man was arrested after he fired a gun at officers from inside an apartment.

An officer was flagged down at about 12:14 a.m. Thursday by a person who said people were being held against their will by a man with a gun in an apartment on East Fourth Plain Blvd.

Patrol officers approached the apartment and someone fired at least one shot at the police.



A SWAT team was called in and they took a male suspect into custody.

Police say no one else was found in the apartment. No one was injured in the incident.
