MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development is hosting a free conference on innovative work spaces.
Organizers say this month’s conference is focused on communal and shared workplaces - a new kind of business model spreading around the country.

Republican Gov. Phil Scott says they are an important way for Vermont to encourage business growth.
The conference will be held Oct. 26 at Castleton University and includes panelists’ discussions of starting innovation spaces and financing them.
