SEAT PLEASANT, Md. (AP) - A pedestrian is dead after a collision in Prince George’s County.
Police say 63-year-old Wayne Davis was fatally struck while trying to cross the street in Seat Pleasant at about 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Police say he was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say Davis wasn’t in the crosswalk at the time of the accident.
The driver who struck Davis remained on the scene, but a second driver, who collided with the back of the first car while it was stopped, fled. Police say they’re searching for that driver, who was driving a sedan, possibly a Buick. The car could have front-end damage.
