CORINTH, Maine (AP) - Police say a man was found dead after a truck struck him.

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s office said police responded to a motor vehicle and pedestrian traffic crash Friday evening on Route 15 in Corinth.

Police said the male pedestrian was found deceased after being hit by a truck traveling north on Route 15.



Police have not released the identities of anyone involved in the crash, which happened in a small town 19 miles (30 kilometers) northwest of Bangor. The Maine State Police and the sheriff office’s reconstruction and mapping team are assisting with the investigation.
