AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) - A man has been arrested after investigators say he intentionally set fire to an east Georgia apartment last month.

WRDW-TV reports investigators said Monday that 63-year-old William Earl Gorham knowingly damage the apartment while the renter was home back on Sept. 27. He is charged with four counts of felony arson.

The arrest warrant states the damage was done without the consent of the owner while the “dwelling house was occupied.”

Authorities are unsure what prompted the incident.
