RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A man was stabbed in the neck outside of a grocery store on a commercial stretch of Richmond.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that the stabbing occurred on Friday night outside of a Kroger in Carytown.

Officers were called just before 8 p.m. for a report of a fight in the parking lot.



The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where he was rushed into surgery.

Police are still seeking a suspect.
