HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Police are searching for a suspected hit-and-run driver who struck a woman and left her for dead in Southern California.
Officials say a female’s body was reported on a road early Monday in Huntington Beach.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released any information about a suspect vehicle.
Surrounding roads were shut down during the investigation.
