OPINION:
As women are coming forth in droves to claim they were sexually harassed by politicians, corporate chiefs, celebrities and other well-known individuals, in most instances, it is too late to pursue any criminal charges due to the passing of the statute of limitations. Civil suits might also be barred.
Unfortunately there seems to be a rush to judgment in the minds of some that where there are multiple accusers, the accusers must be deemed credible. Perhaps I am missing something, but I’ve yet to hear of even one instance where one or more accusers took and passed a polygraph test regarding their allegations. If the accusers pass, then it ought to be up to the accused whether to likewise take a polygraph to deny the stories of the accusers. This will certainly help sort out fact from fiction.
