BURLINGTON, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say they intend to charge a driver after he lost control of his pickup truck, smashing it into two parked cars and damaging a house.

Burlington Police Chief Michael Kent says the crash happened shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Kent says the driver, identified only as a 46-year-old Burlington man, told officers he suffered an unspecified medical problem shortly before his truck careened into the cars, pushing them into the house. No one was home at the time.

The man declined treatment. A female passenger was taken to a hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening.

Police said in a statement that the driver will be charged with operating to endanger.
