SAYREVILLE, N.J. (AP) - Authorities in New Jersey say a pedestrian died after he was struck by multiple vehicles.

Officials say the man was killed Saturday night in Sayreville. According to police, the man was first struck by an SUV as he crossed Route 9 North. Police say the man was thrown into the center lane of Route 9 South where he was struck by more vehicles.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.



No charges have been filed.

Police have not released the name of the victim.
