NEW YORK (AP) - New York City police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed an 18-year-old man over the weekend.

Authorities say the crash happened Saturday night in the Richmond Hill section of Queens. Police say a van T-boned a car driven by 18-year-old Xylique Lovelace-Loney, of Queens, at an intersection. The force of the collision sent Lovelace-Loney’s car barreling into two parked vehicles.

Firefighters extricated Lovelace-Looney from the car. He was rushed to a local hospital where he died. The 21-year-old driver of the van suffered minor injuries.

No charges have been filed.

Police continue to investigate.
