RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police are investigating a fatal shooting on the southeast side of town.
Police say an adult female victim was found dead inside a car early Thursday morning.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting near Neil Road in the area of Parkview Street and Mazzone Avenue at about 4:50 a.m.
Lt. Zach Thew told the Reno-Gazette Journal the death is being investigated as a homicide.
Traffic is being rerouted around the area.
