WEST GREENWICH, R.I. (AP) - State police say a man has died in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in West Greenwich.
Police say 31-year-old Brandon Robinson of West Warwick was driving north just after midnight Sunday when his car went off the road, hit a tree, and rolled over.
Robinson, who according to police was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the car and pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved and investigators said speed was a factor in the crash. It remains under investigation.
