BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A North Dakota National Guard unit that served 10 months in Afghanistan is back on American soil.

About 60 members of the Bismarck-based 136th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion returned to the U.S. on Friday.

They’ll undergo the demobilization process at Fort Hood in Texas then return to North Dakota later this month.
