CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire man has been sentenced in federal court to nearly six years in prison for possessing a stolen handgun, ammunition, and drugs.
Prosecutors say 36-year-old James Diaz, of Manchester is prohibited by law from possessing a firearm as a result of a prior felony conviction.
As part of a plea agreement, Diaz admitted to the possession of five other firearms and ammunition that weren’t in his apartment during a search warrant, but were later turned over to law enforcement.
Investigators found fentanyl and cocaine at his home earlier this year.
