CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A Wyoming high school staff member has been placed on administrative leave after an altercation involving an autistic student.

A statement from the Natrona County School District in Casper says the incident that occurred Monday was under investigation.

The Casper Star-Tribune and KTWO-AM quoted a relative of the 14-year-old student as saying that the staff member hit the student in the face after the student hit him at Natrona County High School.
