BAKER CITY, Ore. (AP) - Oregon State Police say a wrong-way driver died in a collision with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 84 near Baker City.

Lt. Cari Boyd says the crash occurred Sunday night as troopers were taking a complaint about a Ford Focus going the wrong direction.

Boyd says the driver of the Ford, 32-year-old Joseph Sizemore of Pendleton, traveled westbound in an eastbound lane after leaving a rest area. The car sideswiped a tractor-trailer, which in turn collided with another commercial vehicle.

Neither out-of-state truck driver was hurt, but their vehicles had to be towed.

The crash remains under investigation.
